Buying full truck return goods gives you the lowest price per kilogram in our range, but that price is only an advantage if your warehouse, your cash flow and your sales velocity can handle the load. A full truck is therefore not a purchasing decision but a capacity decision. This article explains what CNJ's two Full Truck lines contain, how to compare the price per kilogram fairly with smaller lots, and which signals tell you to stay with the per-kilo catalogue a while longer.
What exactly is a Full Truck at CNJ?
Full Truck means you buy a complete truckload instead of a pallet or a number of boxes. We have two lines for this that come from the same world in terms of content but work very differently in practice: one is sorted and packed in uniform boxes, the other is unsorted and loaded loose. That difference in sorting, packaging and price decides which line suits your business.
Amazon Overstock Boxes are sold per box: €450 per box of approximately 100 kg, which works out at €4.50 per kilogram excluding VAT and freight. A box measures 120×80×60 cm. The minimum order is 66 boxes and 99 boxes make up a full truck. The condition is A grade; 25–40% of the contents is electronics, supplemented with home goods, office supplies, kitchenware and toys.
The Amazon Mystery Box Mix (Large/Mid/Small) is sold by weight: €4.25 per kilogram excluding VAT and freight, with a minimum order of 5,000 kg and 8,000 kg for a full truck. This lot is unsorted and mixed, contains all Amazon parcel sizes together and is loaded loose. Large boxes may be included, so buy this line with care: returns are not possible. CNJ is an independent wholesaler and not affiliated with Amazon; that name only describes the origin of the goods.
Sorted boxes or an unsorted mix?
The two lines suit different kinds of business. Overstock Boxes arrive in uniform boxes you can stack, count and, if need be, resell per box to another trader; that makes unloading, storage and administration predictable. The Mystery Box Mix is cheaper per kilogram, but you buy volume without shape: loaded loose, unsorted and with no option to return.
So choose the model that fits your way of working first and only then compare on price. If you have few hands available for sorting, the extra €0.25 per kilogram for Overstock Boxes usually earns itself back in saved hours and in the calm of a predictable delivery. If you do have space, people and experience, the unsorted mix gives you the lowest cost price per item.

Worked example: the price per kilogram in perspective
Suppose you buy the minimum order of 66 boxes of Amazon Overstock Boxes. At roughly 100 kg per box that is about 6,600 kg, and at €450 per box you pay €29,700 excluding VAT and freight. A full truck of 99 boxes comes to about 9,900 kg and €44,550. For the Mystery Box Mix you start at 5,000 kg at €4.25 per kilogram, or €21,250; 8,000 kg works out at €34,000.
Place those kilo prices next to the catalogue without a fixed minimum order: Amazon Shipping Bags (BP2) cost €5.25 per kilogram and Parcel returns Small/Mid €6.00 per kilogram. The difference is therefore €0.75 to €1.75 per kilogram. That is real money, but it only becomes profit if the additional costs of a truckload stay below that difference.
So do not calculate with the bare price per kilo but with your landed cost per kilogram: purchase price plus freight, plus storage, plus the hours that sorting and disposal take. We quote freight on request and there is currently no volume discount anywhere.
Warehouse, unloading and people: the practical requirements
A truck arrives all at once and has to stand somewhere all at once. So go through the physical preconditions before you send your enquiry, because more often than price they decide whether a Full Truck works. A lot that sits on the pavement or in a rented van for two days costs you more than the price difference per kilogram brings in.
If you are unsure about the space or about the condition of the goods, a viewing by appointment at our warehouse in The Hague is possible. A trial lot or pallet beforehand also gives you your own figures on average weight, resale share and sorting time.
- Floor space: boxes of 120×80×60 cm need tens of square metres of dry, lockable space, plus separate working space for sorting.
- Unloading: a loading dock or forklift speeds up palletised boxes; a loose-loaded truck is unloaded by hand and takes considerably longer.
- Access: can a truck reach your premises, stand there and turn around?
- People: sorting, testing, photographing and packing costs hours you plan in advance rather than discover afterwards.
- Disposal: packaging material and unsellable items have to go somewhere, and that costs money.
Working capital, cash flow and sales velocity
Our ordering route has no online checkout: you enquire, we confirm stock and send a final quote including freight, after which you receive a (pro forma) invoice. Payment is by bank transfer and only then do we schedule shipping or collection. So count on a moment where the full amount plus freight is committed up front, while the revenue only arrives over weeks or months.
Set your sales velocity honestly against that. A truckload that was meant to be two months of stock but becomes nine costs storage, attention and room for the next lot. Discuss the consequences for your working capital and your VAT position with your bookkeeper before you commit.

- Is there working capital left after payment for freight, wages and the next purchase?
- Can you handle peaks, for example in the run-up to Q4, without sorting grinding to a halt?
When are you better off with the per-kilo catalogue?
A Full Truck is not a next step you earn, but a format that belongs at a certain scale. Buying per kilogram without a fixed minimum order is not a waiting room: for many resellers it is simply the format that matches their space and pace. If you recognise one of the following points, buy smaller and come back later.
We also supply recurring, scheduled lots. A fixed delivery each month often gives you the same continuity as a truckload without committing everything at once: your assortment stays fresh, you learn something from every delivery and you can adjust as soon as you see which categories run best in your channel.

- Your storage is not dry, lockable or spacious enough, or unloading is only possible by hand.
- You have no figures of your own yet on average weight, resale share and sorting time.
- Paying the full amount up front would make your cash flow too tight.
- You first want to know which categories work in your channel; that is what a trial lot is for.
A full truck pays off when the difference in price per kilo — €4.50 for Overstock Boxes or €4.25 for the Mystery Box Mix against €5.25 and €6.00 in the catalogue — stays larger than what you pay extra in freight, storage, hours and committed working capital.
